My gaming haul over the past month had a very unexpected addition: a Nintendo 2DS Pokémon Yellow bundle! I may not have mentioned it on this forum, but Pokémon Yellow was the very first Pokémon game I ever owned, so when I happened to stumble across this console in a random EB Games, I decided on the spot to get it!

The bundle was in a display case along with the Red and Blue 2DS bundles, all three of which had been put there roughly ten minutes before @BurstDashV8 and I walked into the shop (they were cancelled preorders, apparently). If we hadn't decided to go to that EB Games at that exact time...

I've been enjoying Yellow immensely, though I'm not as far in it as my copies of Red and Blue. My team includes a Pikachu named PIKA, a Bulbasaur named SAUR and a Clefairy named CLEF; plus a Venonat named VENO, a Diglett named DIG-DUG, a Caterpie which I forgot to nickname and a freshly-caught Magikarp named GYARA. I'd also like to train a Ponyta, which I'd name DASH, a Machop named MACHO and a Jynx named LOLA.

All in all, an excellent haul!

Okay, exactly why are Koal and Kindle named Zak and Candy in my copy Advance Wars: Dual Strike? I used to own a copy and I distinctly remember their names being Koal and Kindle. Those darned European name localisations confused me about the title of Mario Tennis: Power Tour in the eShop as well!
