Your Most Recent Videogame Purchase(s)

I finally ordered a black Wii Classic Controller Pro from Amazon. There were only a few black controllers left, so I thought I better buy it now. None of the stores in my area are carrying Wii accessories anymore, so ordering one from Amazon was my only option. I bought it mostly for playing VC games, but I may use it for other games like Xenoblade. Retro City Rampage is another reason why I purchased a Classic Controller, because there are some segments of that game that are almost unplayable with the WiiMote.

Pocket monsters X and my Japanese friend already gave me a "yeah" in game

I've really been getting into my new copy of Pokémon X. For some reason, though, my friends aren't appearing in my PSS...

I wish I could get into Pokémon, since just about everyone on my friends list is either playing X or Y right now. I just could never get over the super childish visual style and storylines. Oh well, I still have over 3/4 of SMTIV left to play through. I guess we can all play together online, once MH4 is localized.

@Nintenbro: The series has matured a lot since the early days. I found the two-part BW series to be the least-childish entries in the franchise yet, with a slightly-dark storyline involving one of the creepiest villains in the series (as well as one of the most multi-layered anti-villains in any franchise).

@Nintenbro Pokemon have become just as dark if not darker than the Zelda games in my opinion so you may want to try Black and White 1 or 2, or X and Y they're far from being just for little kids nowadays.

Now on topic my latest purchase was Rygar: The Legendary Hero for the NES. The game is a true classic, it's just a shame that the main soundtrack theme infringes on Superman's copyrights because this game deserves a virtual console release which thanks to copyrights will never happen.

I haven't tried out the game yet, because it took me about 1 hr. 40 min. to download it. It requires approximately 14,000 blocks.

Unepic for the Wii U eshop. It's a solid title and I believe it is well worth its $9.99 price tag.

This is currently on sale in NA for $3.49. I downloaded the WiiWare demo, but I didn't enjoy it enough to pay $10 for it. The eShop version has additional content, and the 3D effect does make the game much more immersive.

Chibi Robo photo finder, it's nice but I'm not enjoying it as much as the original or Park Patrol but I'm also not to far in it either

I thought this version was in 3D, but it's not. The description page on the eShop states that the game supports 3D visuals. Oh, how deceptive we are. Anyways, it's still a well made platformer. It feels a lot like how Super Meat Boy appears to play like, so I guess that's a good thing. Since for some reason, Super Meat Boy is never going to make an appearance on a Nintendo console. Well, except for in Retro City Rampage. What a smack in the face that is.

I finally got myself a WiiU console. I decided to go with the Wind Waker HD bundle, because it's the only one I have any interest in. For some reason, there was no Club Nintendo code inside to register the console. Should there have been one? There's a Club Nintendo insert w/the manual and start-up guide, but there's no code on it... I'm going to link it with my NNID & Club Nintendo account. If the console isn't automatically registered, I guess I'm going to have to contact Nintendo's customer service.

If I recall correctly from the brief period I had a Wii U, the console is automatically registered once you link it to your CN account.

@Nintenbro82 Hey congratulations on becoming a Wii U owner! Let me know if you pick up MH3U for the console, there are still plenty of WiiWareWavers who play the game online.

I won two Pokémon-e theme decks on eBay! The cards in them are compatible with the e-Reader, with the biggest feature being a constructable music application.

EDIT: I also won a full set of decks from the Pokémon Trading Card Game's Base Set 2, which was themed around the original Pokémon games for Game Boy. You can be sure I'm excited!

I just ordered a 1TB Western Digital "My Book Essential" external hard-drive from eBay. It's brand new and factory sealed.

In the spirit of "The Year of Luigi", I also ordered and since received the Luigi 3DS pouch from Club Nintendo.

Edit: I just started downloading "The Wonderful 101," so it should be finished downloading by 12:00 p.m. today.

I got Pokémon SoulSilver Version, one of the sequels to Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen versions, and also the remake of my favourite old-school Pokémon game!
