Recipe for the perfect game (forum game)

What would be a perfect game in your opinion?
In this game we need to use different aspects of several games to make the end product perfect!
I think if Xenoblade Chronicles had Final Fantasy VIIs' story and Star Ocean: The Second Storys' item creation system it would be a perfect game!

Maybe take the gameplay of Super Mario Galaxy, the character roster of Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA) and the story style of Super Mario Sunshine. Cook it in a development team oven for enough time to remove the bugs and you have my dream Super Mario Galaxy 3!

Not entirely sure how to address this. With game development you always have to aim your media towards a certain audience. I personally believe it is impossible to produce something that satisfies the needs of all audiences. Kushina suggested the Xenoblade and Final Fantasy universe - Both of which consist of RPG elements. GamerZack suggested the Mario universe - Something that appeals to old school gamers but equally as welcoming of newcomers with it's fairly difficult and pick up & play nature.
Regardless of the type of game, nailing the gameplay mechanics would be the way to go. Adding innovative new tools into the game regardless of the genre would also make the produce seem that much more appealing to an audience. Super Mario Galaxy completely revolutionized Mario games, and Mario Kart 8 continues the trend of introducing as many new features to the Mario Kart universe as possible to keep the audience interested and feel their investments worth. The newly released TitanFall is another example of this. You can choose to fight on the ground or in a giant mecha, completely changing the way people playing first-person shooters.
