Well, I'm sure that to him, fame isn't everything.
With the imminent completion of two episodes of Crystals of Silveria, I figured now was the time for a refreshed look at the schedule of the next episodes:
Are you excited?

S1SP2 Zed of Two Worlds, Part II: Soranian Haze
We meet Jackson, a young spellsword in the world of Metaligon with no memory of his life prior to his arrival in Soranius. He and his allies have discovered an ancient city high in the Soranian mountains, which seems to provide hints of a possible parallel twin world. Can Jackson uncover the truth?
S1E07 Of She-Orcs and Men
No sooner does the party reach Mak's home in Cuprumo than the orcborn uncovers a possible lead on his mother! The party splits up temporarily, with Mak taking two of his allies across the border to the sands of Kobelia. What he finds may leave him utterly shell-shocked.
S1E08 Emily's Homecoming
Emily returns to her home in Goldenia, revealing a great deal about her! For one thing, her brother, Aurec, has skin and hair which gleam like metal. A group of individuals wish to capture and study him, which raises the suspicions of more than one individual, especially since virtually everybody is aware of the existence of birthforms. What is the true motive of these people?

After the completion of the first series of Crystals of Silveria, I'm giving serious thought towards a very special treat: the pilot episodes for the other 11 series, which are all currently at different stages of planning! These would be uploaded at the same time in their own forum thread, and would include the following pilot episodes:
Mask of Akanius Pilot
Charm of Trihorn Pilot
Voice of Goldkin Pilot
Bane of Monsters Pilot
Mystery of Pentorbix Pilot
Veil of Neos Pilot
The début episode of Crystals of Silveria 2
Light of Cenadel Pilot
Shell of the Hat Pilot
Recruit of Indigos Pilot
Rebel of Magentius Pilot
Amulet of Amejisto Pilot
Twelve episodes, each with its own story to tell. The most popular one would be the pilot for the very next series I write. My idea is for each series to have about two seasons depending on popularity. What do you think?
Oh, and production of the next episode of Crystals of Silveria should begin soon. Look forward to that!

I've decided to have a go at making my own Crystals of Silveria card set using Magic Set Editor! Its theme is Legends, a supertype which has existed in Magic: The Gathering since the Legends expansion back in the early 90s. Legendary Creatures are special in that only one of each of them can be on the battlefield at any given time - not one per player, but one at all! The reason I chose this as a theme is simple: the series has quite a large number of recurring characters, especially compared with other series. What I won't do is cram the set full of unique characters, as that has been attempted in MTG's past to a less-than-favourable result. Nonetheless, there will be at least 15 Legendary Creatures, 5 of which will be uncommon: Kendall Silvertooth; Zed Starmute, Novice Mage; Gazzo Dragonbait; Koble the Merchant; and Brocc Farshot, Bardic Expert. This will allow players to have easier access to some Legends without flooding the set with more common characters. Anyway, I hope you look forward to some previews!

I've decided to divide the series into three story arcs, each with its own loosely-connected plot points and theme:
ARC 1: Azure Origins
Episodes: 1-4 + Zed of Two Worlds, Part I
Themes & Plots: Introduction of most major characters; Bryn's gender
ARC 2: Ethereal Expanse
Episodes: 5-8 + Zed of Two Worlds, Part II
Themes & Plots: Elements; origins of the Crystals; family bonds
ARC 3: Iconic Truth
Episodes: 9-12 + Zed of Two Worlds, Part III
Themes & Plots: Truths revealed; villainous debut
As you can see, it makes the story a little more exciting by grouping together episodes in such a way.

Just thought I should post an update regarding the series. Currently, I am undergoing the common, yet annoying, ailment known as writer's block. I know the rough outline of how the next episodes go, but I want to be able to write them in the same quality which you, the fans, have come to expect, and also in a way which carries through to the next few episodes as well. Plots and themes I need to work out for the next story arc include:
-Something to do with the crystals. There needs to be more story focus on them given their status as the main plot device.
-A strong emphasis on family. We meet family members of Brocc, Mak and Emily, and I need to work out how they are woven into the story.
-New characters just for this story arc. Tamamaki, a ryukoni monk of the Flowing Mizu, is one such character, but I need to work on others too.
In addition, there is to be more exposition on Zed's mysterious role, and while I have worked out the resolution of that plot (mini-spoiler: prepare to be shocked), I have to work out a way to subtly build up to it. Also, Erik does fit into the puzzle, but he will remain a mystery even as we learn about Zed, and I can't spoil too much about him. Not to worry, though, as once I unblock my writer's block I'll be able to begin the next story arc.
Thank you for following the series through its first story arc. I hope you enjoyed it immensely, and please look forward to the next episodes.

Not to worry, I'm sure that I'll be able to think of something soon.
On another note, I'll be starting a Dungeons & Dragons campaign in December, which utilises the newest edition of the game. The rules are very intuitive and easy to understand for beginners, and the basic rulebook is free! The adventures will take place in a world which is in the same multiverse as Junihoshi, so you can be sure of a fantastic journey. If anybody's interested in playing, please let me know.

Production of the next story arc is due to commence! Here's a sample of what's to come.
- Spoiler:
Zed walks through the forest, pursued by the tiny pixie.
Pixie: Look, about what I said earlier...
Zed: It's fine. To be honest, I kinda expected to meet you.
Pixie: Really?! I-I mean...good. You should have expected to stumble across-
Both Zed and the pixie stop moving.
Pixie: -that weird-looking creature!
The pixie flies forward towards a person resembling a humanoid dragon with golden scales. He has short, scruffy hair on top of his head; a monkey-like tail with short fur of the same colour curves out from the base of his tunic, slowly moving around behind his back. He sits on the ground with his legs crossed and his clawed hands in his lap. His eyes are closed, as though he is in a deep trance.
Pixie: Look at this thing! What is it?
Zed: I'm...not sure...
Pixie: What's it doing? This is no place for a nap!
Zed: I don't think...he's asleep. He's meditating.
Dragonoid: You are correct.
Both Zed and the Pixie appear shocked.
Zed: You can hear us?
Dragonoid: Are you aware that you are nearly devoid of clothing?
Pixie: And see us?!
Dragonoid: When you open your mind, all senses come to you, even the ones you cannot normally comprehend.
The person opens his eyes and carefully stands to his clawed, three-toed feet.
Dragonoid: Ore wa Koori no Tamamaki desu. (I am Tamamaki of Koori.)
Zed: Boku wa Zed desu. (I'm Zed.)
Pixie: And I'd be lost without these handy subtitles.
Tamamaki: A wall is as sturdy as can be, yet it crumbles at the slightest turn of phrase.
Pixie: Come again?
Zed: That was a shugenja proverb.
Tamamaki: You are correct, Zed the Azurebound.
Zed appears surprised.
Zed: You know of me?
Tamamaki: Indeed. I have awaited your arrival in this spot.
Zed: But...how did you know I'd be here?
Tamamaki: My ears are open to many things, not the least of which is the Sublime.
Pixie: What's he jabbering about?
Zed: He speaks of Kedakai, one of the Immortal Twelve.
Pixie: A Celestial Being? Aren't they - and please excuse the pun - nothing more than a faery tale?
Zed: I watched two beings ascend right in front of me. Believe me, they exist.
Pixie: But they haven't been seen in the mortal realm for centuries!
Tamamaki: And yet you were given a task by Mar-
Pixie: Hey, hey! Spoilers! I have yet to tell Zed about that!
Tamamaki: You keep secrets from him?
Zed: He won't even tell me his name.
Tamamaki looks at the pixie.
Tamamaki: I understand, Azure.
A shimmer of sparkles falls from Azure's wings as he freaks out.
Azure: Why would you say that?! Have you heard of the term, "spoilers"?!
Tamamaki: You are at least obligated to tell Zed your name, yes?
Azure: ...I am...I guess...
Tamamaki: Very good. Now, the reason you have come is...?
Zed: Oh, we're looking for some people.
Tamamaki: Of course. Allow me to assist you both.
Azure: Fine, but we don't need the help.
Tamamaki: Are you sure?
Azure: Yes, I just said we-
Suddenly, a far-off cry sounds out.
Brocc: AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! OH, WHY DID I DECIDE TO DO THIS?! SOMEBODY! HEEEEEEEELP UUUUUUUS!
Zed: Brocc! Thobrun!
Azure: Jetta!
Zed: Who?!
Azure: It...long story!
Zed: Hurry!
The three people race towards the source of Brocc's voice.

However, if you sync the Junihoshian calendar with that of our world, today marks day one the Dragon Festival, which occurs for two days right in the middle of Kedakai, the third month of autumn (or spring, if you happen to live below the equator). And with a grand total of 15 annually-occurring festivals - 16 if it's a leap year - Zed isn't too concerned about not having one to celebrate him.

Zack you should do a Nintendo and Crystals of Silveria holiday crossover special this year with Bowser, King Dedede, Ganondorf, and the wicked characters from Crystals of Silveria playing the roles of the villains, while Mario, Luigi, Toad, Peach, Kirby, Meta Knight, Link, Zelda, and the Crystal Bearers take the role of the heroes of the story, with special guest appearances from Wario, Waluigi, Professor E. Gadd, Tingle, Whispy Woods and more lol.

"Not only does it have pages AND a cover, but every page has text on it!" -- Herikios Hippocamp Woodhollow
"If you like paper things, you'll LOVE this! Highly recommended." -- Random guy on the streets of Silveria City

I've added next episode previews to every episode! All future episodes should have them as well. Here are the first ones for your reading/viewing pleasure:
- Spoiler:
Zed's voice: If you thought the barbarians were fearsome, just wait till you see what Zed faces next time! Amethyst takes the young wizard to a school which specialises in teaching the arcane arts, where a mysterious blue phantom happens to be rampaging through the halls! And it's Amethyst's old friend Alek, teacher of illusions, who's getting the blame! And just what is this mysterious silver egg that Zed's found? Next time: Bright Lights, Big Citadel. And they said school was boring! Class is in session!
**********
Zed's voice: *Horse whinny* The Hippocamp is splashing down! Confused? Then get ready, cause here comes Erik! This mysterious guy seems to know a lot about Zed, but he's very tight-lipped. What are his motives, and can Zed trust him? Oh, and what's with this mysterious bear who's spying on the party while they camp? Maybe he wants some of Zed's mysterious food, "sandwiches". Next time: Call of the Wild and Trained. No, really, who is Erik? Seriously!
**********
Zed's voice: Okay, we're going a little bit off-course next time, but just bear with us. It's Alph! He's the hero of another story, which is set in a world in another universe. That mask he wears is kinda weird, right? But he needs it to breathe properly. Well, except when he eats food! He has friends, including a gnome, just like Zed. But what about the two dragon-thingies? Bet you won't see those in Zed's party! Oh, and a girl who has a big crush on him. Next time: Zed of Two Worlds, Part I. Wait...ZED of two worlds?! Hm...something seems fishy...and I don't mean Zed's tuna sandwiches.
**********
Zed's voice: Well, after our brief detour, we're back in Zed's world. Wait...what about Jackson?! Oh well, I guess we'll get to him eventually. Anyway, a mysterious figure shoots Bryn in the arm with a crossbow, which leads to an investigation to learn the assailant's identity. Meanwhile, the Dragon Festival's in town, which means it's time to party, Ryokoro-style! Next time: The Star-Cloaked Wanderer. Hey, Bryn has a brother! Who knew?
**********
Zed's voice: Wow, Kendall's joined the party...as the Eighth Crystalbound! Well, not really. But he is a member of the party...along with Erik and Gazzo? And a mysterious female gnome who looks suspiciously like Brocc? And a...faery-thing? AND a dragon-dude in a blue tunic? And...Merchant! It seems that each of these people has a reason for journeying with the Crystalbound, and...well, I think Zed's outfit has seen better days, because it's gone! Next time: My Sister's Footsteps. Oh, I get it! The faery-thing is Zed's sister! Wait...that can't be right.

It's been established that no oracle can determine Zed's history, due to him not having a connection to any of the star patterns in the night sky. However, some oracles have been able to determine other hidden attributes about the young wizard, including (but not limited to):
-Everybody in the multiverse has an elemental attribute, which can only be detected by a select few and has little use under most circumstances. There are four "core" elements, as well as eight others which form overlaps between them. Zed's attribute is water, one of the core elements.
-There are five groups of true dragons (chromatic, metallic, weather, terrain and gemstone), with five main species in each group. Oracles are able to determine the type of dragon an individual embodies; if one oracle is to be believed, Zed embodies the silver dragon, a metallic dragon.
-Zed's apparent age was stated by one oracle as 27, though she also added that "there is much, much more to it than that", hinting that his aging may have slowed to an extent, and that his actual age may be greater.
So, Zed isn't a complete mystery after all.

Production of the second story arc of Crystals of Silveria is now under-way! Here is a brief rundown of some of the things you can expect:
-A journey to Goldenia and Coppelia, the other two countries of Ornoposia!
-A detour to another continent and even another plane!
-The second part of Zed of Two Worlds, which is set in another world!
-The introduction of several major and minor characters, including two antagonists who are much more dangerous than Trent and Kara!
-A hint at the possible origins of the Silverian Crystals, as well as the true nature of the Azure Crystal itself!
Get ready, because the series is kicking into overdrive! The story is building up to multiple plot points, which all centre on Zed, the crystals, and the mysterious Sorceress of Winter herself! As the weather cools, and the Winter Festival approaches, Zed draws near the fate chosen for him not only by the Azure Crystal, but by forces most can barely even fathom. Are you ready for winter? The Icon will be achieved!

I made an opening theme for Crystals of Silveria! It's not perfect by any means, but with Google Translate I was at least able to make it. If any members who are fluent in Japanese and/or J-Pop could help me refine the Japanese version into a consistent song, I would very much appreciate it. Now, without further ado, here is the opening theme to Crystals of Silveria...Silverian Dreams!

I have no memory of my world.
Even with others, I feel alone.
If I see the wonders of this land,
Perhaps I will find what’s missing.
I don’t know the challenges I’ll face,
But I embrace this great quest before me.
With a wand as my sword, and a crystal as my shield,
My adventure has now begun!
Silverian Dreams!
My crystal seems to guide me.
Silverian Dreams!
Though I don’t see my goal.
The cold-hearted ones may try to stop us,
But we will journey on! We will succeed!
I will find my place in the world!
My dreams are quite mysterious.
They are very strange.
But I will solve the mystery.
My friends and I will achieve our goal!
Silverian Dreams!
Our crystals unite us.
Silverian Dreams!
And we will solve the mystery.
Let the servants of the cold-hearted sorceress come.
We will stop them! I will pursue my Silverian Dreams!

The winter special is in production! It's a crossover between the main characters of four stories, one of which is Crystals of Silveria.
Alph (the main character of the upcoming series Mask of Akanius and one of the stars of Zed of Two Worlds), Tessa (a girl from the world of Pentorbix III with powers of both celestial and psychic origins), Zed (the star of Crystals of Silveria and co-star of Zed of Two Worlds) and Sky (an accomplished pilot who is beginning to manifest trickster magic) are all abducted from their worlds and sealed within the virtual world of Midakaoi Online, the most popular MMORPG in the world of Lanovus.
Their arrival coincides with the annual in-game Festival of Wintersdown, which in a way mirrors the holiday season of our world. As they try to find a way out of their predicament, they learn that others like them have also been caught-up in this situation. The problem is that the others don't want to leave, despite their worlds most likely needing them back!
This is the first major crossover special of the Chromaicora Adventures, as well as being the first holiday special. It offers the chance to witness the heroes in a completely new way by taking them out of their comfort zones and into an unfamiliar environment. Even though they all choose classes familiar to them, how they must master their virtual abilities is different to the real worlds.
The special also brings together all the heroes for the first time, as in the past they have each only met a few of the others; Alph and Zed, for example, met during the events of Zed of Two Worlds. Speaking of which, as an extra-special treat, I will attempt to upload the entire three-part saga, entirely uncut, along with the holiday special, so that you can witness how Alph and Zed came to know one another. How does that sound?

The next episode of Crystals of Silveria is almost complete! Picking up where the previous episode left off, we begin to learn more about the crystals, and we also find out just where Zed has ended up. Trent and Kara are gone, but the Crystalbound's troubles are far from over: The vile Sorceress of Winter has hatched a plot to ultimately bring down the heroes, but what is her true motivation? Find out soon!
And after that is the second part of Zed of Two Worlds, where we encounter the young spellsword Jackson and his allies. Something seems very familiar about them, though... Anyway, these new heroes have entered the mysterious Temple of Soranius, an ancient citadel located in the highlands of the Mithril Drachomus Nation. What they find there will change Jackson's life forever.
Then, there will be two more episodes to round out the story arc, with each one focused on one of the budding lovebirds of the Crystalbound. Three guesses who!

Awesome work Zack! By the way you should start a Crystals of Silveria Fan Discussion thread so people can talk about your series. I don't know about everyone else, but I try to avoid posting in this thread and your series thread so I don't disrupt the flow of your information/episodes.

I apologise for the long wait for the next episode. Mental blanks relating to the series are not fun at all. But rest assured that the next episode is receiving the royal treatment, to make sure that it is top-notch. I'm thinking that episodes of future series will need to be half as long, in order to make the story progress at a faster pace. I'm sure that 20 pages' worth of dialogue is still worth an entire episode, but that simply means that each episode of Crystals is worth two! This would make Crystals the largest planned series by far, and each episode will likely be split into a "Part 1" and "Part 2" in order to keep things consistent. So, to that end, I will look at uploading the next episode, I Dream of Jen, Part I, later today. Look forward to that!

Well, it seemed to go completely under the radar, but I uploaded an "episode" of Crystals of Silveria on 1st April 2015 which was, in reality, an April Fool's gag. Here it is, in case you're curious:
Episode 12: I Dream of Jen, Part 2
Episode 12: I Dream of Jen, Part 2
- Spoiler:
Scene 1: Ethereal Expanse: Unknown Time of Day
Zed’s eyes widen.
Zed: Gen! Then you’re a genie!
Jen: At last, you have exposed my secret.
Jen stands up and steps back, out of the way. Her body begins to glow, and she transforms into a bald, glowing-white humanoid form, with eyes glowing bright white.
Jen: I am one of the Gen, the basest of all genies.
Zed stares at the true form of Jen, before putting the rest of his cake into his mouth.
Scene 2: Marissa’s Dining Room: Night
The scene shifts into a grid map on a dining table, with plastic miniatures in place of the characters. Roleplaying books and sheets of paper are scattered across the table’s surface. Pencils, erasers and dice are also on the table. The view pans up to a young woman behind a cardboard screen adorned with fantasy artwork; this woman looks a lot like the Sorceress of Winter, though her hair is chestnut-red and she is not wearing lipstick.
Woman: And it’s getting late, so let’s wrap-up this session.
We pan to a view of a young man resembling Zed, though with clothing like that of our world. He is sitting next to a young man resembling a human version of Mak, though he is clean-shaven.
“Zed”: Aw, and it was just getting good…
“Mak”: I know what you mean, Cory. Marissa’s a really good GM.
We cut to a view of a woman who resembles a human version of Amethyst, though her bangs are blonde rather than lavender.
“Amethyst”: I agree, Mike. I always look forward to our weekly sessions.
We see the other players: one resembles Emily, though with normal, round ears rather than slightly-pointed ones; another has a vague resemblance of Thobrun, though with dark brown hair instead of red; and the other two are very similar to Bryn and Brocc, though the latter has blonde hair rather than green.
“Bryn”: Hear, hear!
Marissa: Well, thank you all for coming, and…I’ll see you next week.
“Thobrun”: I look forward to it, lass.
Marissa smiles sweetly.
Scene 3: Mike’s Car: Night
We cut to a view inside Mike’s car. It appears to be brand-new, with a sleek, bright red exterior. Mike sits in the driver’s seat on the right, whereas Cory sits in the front left passenger seat.
Mike: Wanna stop and get something to eat?
Cory: Yep! I just realized I skipped dinner.
Mike: Me too.
Scene 4: Drake’s Burgers: Night
Mike’s car pulls up into a driveway at Drake’s Burgers.
**********
We cut to a view inside the restaurant. Mike and Cory are sitting at a table facing each other, eating hamburgers and French fries.
Mike: So I was thinking we could go on a road trip, just you and I. What do you say?
Cory: Sounds awesome!
Mike: We could go to…
Cory’s mind wanders, causing him to drift into a trance. An echoing voice appears in his mind.
Voice: This is not your world, Zed.
Mike waves his hand at Cory.
Mike: Uh…Cory? Hello?
Cory snaps back to reality.
Cory: Huh? Oh, sorry. My mind just wandered off.
Mike: Cool. So as I was saying…
Cory’s thoughts: I’ve been playing too many games lately…

Just out of curiosity, how do you all feel about a Chromaicora Adventures "channel", with multiple concurrent series at the same time? This would allow me to get started on other series immediately, as well as allow for me to let my creative juices flow, not to mention the prospect of crossover specials! What do you think?

The next episode of Crystals of Silveria sees Zed learning of the five kinds of genie: Gen, Llund, Freet, Djinn and Meerl, each with its own take on wish-granting. We also catch up with the rest of the Crystalbound, as well as Kendall - poor Gazzo's been chased away by Sara, I'm afraid - and the party is reunited, though not in the way you might expect. Sparks will fly, frenemies will become friendlier with each other, and maybe, just maybe, an important character will realise their potential. I Dream of Jen, Part II: Coming soon!
