Patchwork at its finest



1001 Spikes has received a surprise patch on Wii U, and it has added the basic Off-TV feature that we are honestly surprised that it didn't include when it launched last year. We’re not sure if the patch has added any other features or made any bug fixes, but we will let you know when we find out.

System Update Incoming?



The 3DS and Wii U eshops will be down for maintenance on June 1st so many people are naturally hoping for some sort of system update for the Wii U and unsurprisingly rumors have already begun to emerge! Possibly the most noteworthy is from Ace2Dee2 from Neogaf who posted the image above stating that a new system update for the Wii U will add new features including a Wii U theme shop...

Recently there were rumors about Baby Park and Neo Bowser City coming to the 2nd DLC pack for Mario Kart 8, and with Nintendo of Japan's latest announcement, the rumor is confirmed!

Bugs fixed, Wii U loading times halved!



Recently we posted that a Citizens of Earth patch was coming very soon (read that here) and now it is officially live to update!

Eden industries reported that they were fixing bugs (some that were reportably game-breaking, leading to harsher reviews among other websites) and speeding up...

Thanks to the developer's partnership with the publisher Midnight City, High Strangeness will be coming to the Wii U eshop in North America very soon! The game is scheduled to launch in NA on May 6th! Clearly inspired by games such as Zelda and Star Tropics you can shift the the world between its 8-bit and 16-bit forms and doing so is actually an integral part of the game's gameplay!

Developer Ansimuz Games' platforming-RPG Elliot Quest will be releasing on the Wii U eshop next Thursday! The game looks as though it takes some ideas from Zelda II, Kid Icarus, and Faxanadu.
