Splatoon 2 & 3 Discussion

I’m surprised there isn’t a discussion on the Splatoon series games available for Nintendo Switch. Shall we Ink it Up with some fresh goss on our favourite Squids, Octos, and other assorted marink creatures?

@Towafan7 In that case, I can suggest either waiting for 3 or going for 2 and trying out the Octo Expansion (which is free if you have an NSO+EP sub). In the meantime, I've gotten back into posting ep segments of Octanner no Monogatari, with Inklinda's chapter now taking place during the events of the threequel.

I can't wait to try out the new and improved Salmon Run is Splatoon 3!

Idk even after the direct I’m not sold on Splatoon 3, kinda feels like it shoulda been DLC instead

@KokorOtaku Indeed. It looks like it's 95% the same as Splatoon 2.

@Pyrafan7 I’ll say this: the Direct has given me plenty of inspiration not just for Inklinda no Gaiden, but also the transition between it and Octanner no Monogatari (SPOILER ALERT: It heavily involves, like, Inklein or whatever…)

I’ve decided to build a mixtape of my favourite Splatunes, and wanted to know if any of you are interested in doing the same. Video game music is its own subgenre, isn’t it?

I’ve been playing Splatoon 3 a lot lately and it’s grown on me, though I for some reason never play the store mode, even after buying DLC

@KokorOtaku Are you a kid "at heart" or are you a squid! Fresh jokes aside I really need to move on from Splatoon 1 & get Splatoon 2 or 3 for all the newfangled contents!

@KeAfan7 I definitely recommend 3 for the most up-to-date online multiplayer experience, not to mention all the new QoL features that make it all the more enjoyable overall.
