It's not a big forest. Something shimmering in the northern part next to a treasure chest.

This weekend I'm wrapping up the Asdivine Hearts review (along with the Paranautical Activity review).
Yes, there's post-game content:
- Different endings
- Finding and solving sub-quests,
- Completing the monster logbook,
- Searching for missed treasure chests,
- Competing in a series of battle arena fights,
- Leveling up characters / maxing out money and items,
- Grinding special and rare AHP points to unlock exclusive items
- Replaying on a harder mode (there's 4 difficulties to select from)

Are there any secret dungeons as well?

I haven't found any additional or secret dungeons, if there are any,
There are spots on the world map that lead to rare enemy encounters though.

yes, but it's not a third overworld, it's more like a bigger dungeon between the two worlds.
