Retro-turn-based Action!
Neko.Works has officially announced their upcoming JRPG currently code-named Project Light for the Wii U console! The game is said to be set in a Steampunk world and is heavily inspired by classic JRPG's such as Final Fantasy VII, Chrono Trigger, and Secret of Mana! The trailer above showcases the pre-alpha build of the game so the visuals have room to improve!
Though a few indie JRPG's have already been released on the Wii U eShop none as of yet have had Full-3D visuals. Other upcoming JRPG's built using 3D game engines include Earthlock: Festival of Magic and Soul Saga.
