Kingdom Hearts 3 Discussion

I will say it right now. Kingdom Hearts 3 should have been released on the PS3 instead of skipping a generation. I will still get the game when it's finally released, but I still don't think Square Enix should have waited this long to release the game.

I don't know why a game series aimed at children and young teens would release a sequel two years after the first game, but then wait a decade to release the third and final game of the trilogy.
Most of the original fans probably think that they are too old to play Kingdom Hearts 3 now.

I cannot wait till this releases but I hope that there will be a Wii U port

Has anyone heard of the Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Mix Collection? It'll have Final Mix versions of every single Kingdom Hearts game released so far!
It's going to release eventually on the PS4!

I wonder why Square Enix didn't release Kingdom Hearts 3 on the PS3? It just doesn't make sense given the series' popularity.

@Aqua Cherry Blossom New enemies, new weapons, new items, I believe there's a few new dungeons as well, but I'm not entirely sure, However this topic is getting derailed into a train-wreck! xD

I'm very interested in this game, but I still have at least a few other Kingdom Hearts games to get first. I'm thinking of getting Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, followed by Kingdom Hearts 2.8 FINAL MIX, and then Kingdom Hearts III. I also wouldn't mind tracking down minty-fresh copies of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded for Nintendo DS (preferably English language), but I'd settle for the cinematics in 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX if I couldn't find them.

I just hope the game doesn't shift into a PS5 title, because two console generations without a new mainstream entry in such a wildly popular series would just be insane...
