Ions ago a hero robed in a green tunic battled the darkness and in the end sealed it away, however both the hero and the massive ancient civilization vanished without a trace, now many generations later a new hero has come of age and will get thrusted into a battle against the darkness sealed away long ago!
Gameplay
In Zelda:The Wind Waker you must solve puzzles and beat tough enemies in the dungeons in order to advance through the game just like in any other Zelda game
However travelling in this game is quite different from any other Zelda game as you must sail across the vast oceans to reach towns and dungeons, which gives this game a more sandbox like feel!
This game is also really long as it will take most gamers over 100 hours to beat the game, and get every trasure, and beat all of the hidden dungeons,as well as the sidequests!
Graphics and Sound
This game gets alot of hate for its "kiddie" cartoon like cell shaded graphics despite the fact that it looks great, what it lacks in realism it makes up for it with its detail.
The music in Zelda:The Wind Waker is vastly improved over the N64 Zelda games and is actually quite amazing given the fact that it is only a 1 disc game on a system that uses media disks that are limited in capacity.
The sound effects are nice, nothing spectacular, but nice nonetheless!
Bottom line-With Lengthy gameplay, awesome exploration mechanics, beautiful cell shaded graphics and a breathtaking soundtrack The Wind Waker is a great game worthy of the Zelda name!
Score ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 9.7/10
9- Awesome This game has little in the way of flaws, and is a highly enjoyable experience.
