In Junihoshi, elves originated on the main world, whereas the aliens arrived from space. In Star Ocean, do the aliens come from the main world and the elves from space?  

No she's an alien, the other main character is a young human man who accidentally gets trapped on the planet she grew up on and gets involved with the disaster that has befallen her world
