Yes to more manually switching platforms
A few months ago, VVVVVV was the first eShop download to receive an update to fix the once unplayable Flip Mode for the early North American owners of the game. Last week, Mario Kart 7 was the first retail game for the Nintendo 3DS to receive an update that removes all the illogical shortcuts during online play. This week on May 24, Mighty Switch Force will be the first eShop download to receive free DLC on all regions except for Japan.
Wayforward's blog reveals that the DCL will include five all-new levels, Stereocopic 3D enhancement for all original levels and new ones, and a "retry" button for speed runners. If you previously own Mighty Switch Force, then head to the Nintendo eShop this Thursday to download the game again at no addition cost. For newcomers, downloading the game for the first time starting in May 24 the DLC will already be included.
Are you enthusiastic about DLC finally arriving on the Nintendo 3DS? Is the improvements enough to instantly purchase Mighty Switch Force? Leave your welcoming thoughts at the comment section below.
