Why Am I Unable to View YouTube Gameplay or Trailer Videos!?

As usual, I'm using my Wii browser to surf the net. Lately though, I haven't been able to view any YouTube gameplay or trailer videos that have been posted on gaming forums. There's nothing but a big blank spot where the videos used to be. I'm just wondering if this issue has been affecting anyone else who still uses the Wii browser.

Yes, unfortunately youtube videos now require flash 10.1 which the Wii doesn't have and even worse Youtube XL will also require flash 10.1 in an upcoming update, so Wii owners will unfortunately be unable to watch Youtube on their Wii's.

Well that still doesn't make much sense Brian, because I just watched an episode of the Angry Videogame Nerd on YouTube standard version. Why is it I can still watch the videos just fine on YouTube.com, but I can't view them when they're posted on a gaming forum?

That doesn't make sense either since they work fine on computers it has to be an update that the Wii can't utilise, but why would Youtube update embedded videos, but not the videos on Youtube itself?

Well that sucks.

I have no idea my friend. That's what led me to be so inquisitive. I've been visiting my usual gaming forums that I frequent, but now I'm unable to view any embedded videos. Plus, I have no way of knowing which videos have been posted, so I'm not even able to view them directly on YouTube.com

KingreX32, you're right... This sucks. One day I'm watching gameplay videos of Megaman Revolution, and the next day they're inaccessible.

Hopefully there is an update. This isnt the first time this has happened.

It's not just the Wii browser my Blackberry phone can't view the embedded Youtube videos either.

I thought Blackberries Didnt support flash Anyways.
