and games with monthly pay. that sucks!

and i don't like stupid games. retarded teletubby software for little kids like learning with the pooyoos.

or awful background animations like my fireplace / fireplacing.

I don't hate a particular genre though. So long as it serves its purpose as real entertainment and not one of those shovelware titles, I'm all good.

Fishing games, but Everyone's Fishing aka Fishing Resort is extremely fun.

Sports games. They release a new one every year. How much different is NHL 12 from NHL 11. The Boxart? jeez

Does 'third-party shovelware' count as a game genre?

There are numerous genres of which I'm not particularly fond (sports, racing, fighting), but there are exceptions to the rule in each of those so I can't truthfully say I dislike them completely. There is only one genre I can barely stand, and that is the action/shooter genre. Game franchises like Call of Duty, Halo, Gears of War...there are just too many of them nowadays, and I just don't see the appeal that they bring many other gamers. It's part of the reason I stuck so closely to Nintendo franchises for so long, and for the most part I still do today.

Okay, technically the Metroid games have shooter elements, but they're action-adventure games, so they don't count.

I dislike JRPGs for the most part but the Wii has had some brilliant ones recently (Xenoblade, The Last Story) and I love Fire Emblem.

Sports games in general I'm not fond of but will play once in a while. More likely to play Wii Sports though.

Action games - I find the fighting in such games repetitive and boring for the most part. Batman did a brilliant job of it though but then in that I got bored.

Turn based RPGs for me. Yes I know Pokemon is considered a turn based RPG but Its bareable.
