Sad Times.
SEGA has announced that it's going to start slowing down its western operations as well as its plans to cancel some of its upcoming games due to financial issues.
Though no specifics were given SEGA says it will focus on existing IPs such as Sonic The Hedgehog and Aliens!
Will your favorite upcoming SEGA game end up on the cancelled games list? We'll let you know when we find out!

Is this an April Fools joke or is this true? You can never tell on April 1st what's true and what's a joke.

They posted a tremendous loss in revenue a few days ago I believe. A lot of titles will be cancelled as well as job cuts.
I think SEGA messed up a long time ago. Although Mario games had 3D instalments such as Luigi's mansion and Super Mario Galaxy, Nintendo did not refrain from returning to classics every now and again. SEGA wanted to take Sonic to a whole new level which I'm guessing gamers did not enjoy. I personally enjoy Sonic as a side scroller, but the 3D games aren't that bad either. Here's hoping SEGA figures something out soon.

SEGA is in bad shape, but not as bad as SEGA was when they dropped out of the gaming console business.

I hope sega survives

As long as Sega keeps Sonic The Hedgehog I'll be happy lol.

Sega has seen worse, but this is still awful news. It's a bit unfortunate when companies have to stick purely to their guns, but at least Sonic seems to be improving as of late.
- Sega might release some Sega Master System games on the 3ds virtual console!
- Does anyone else have some games downloaded on thier Dreamcast from the old sega shop?
- SEGA MEGA DRIVE WIRELESS (WITH 80 GAMES) GIVEAWAY!
- Platinum Games, SEGA & Nintendo Bombarded With Hate Mail Over WiiU Exclusive Bayonetta 2
- Will Nintendo add The Sega 32x and Sega CD sections to the wii virtual console?
