Is Super Mario 3D Land easy?

I heard that the first 7 levels are easier than most Mario worlds, but how about the other worlds?

I think it's pretty easy. It can get pretty challenging in the later worlds (say after the main game). But still nothing that makes me want to tear the hair out of my skull.

I'd call it one of the easiest main-series Mario games, perhaps even the easiest. There are only one or two levels in the last few worlds that really challenged me when I was going for 100% completion (though I do admit those few were pretty hard!).

The true final level had me splitting hairs, but overall I think it's a good game for newcomers.
