Zen Studios has been very busy lately on releasing Zen Pinball 2 to multiple High-Definition gaming consoles, especially PS Vita. It has been awhile since Zen Studios release a downloadable Pinball collection on the Nintendo 3DS with a more practical viewing of the carnified machinery known as Stereoscopic 3D.

None of the publishers including SEGA, Microsoft or Sony wanted to fund or publish a sequel to critically acclaimed Bayonetta. Nintendo stepped up to fund and publish the project, and now "fans" are posting hate mail left, right and center.



I guess this is how "real gamers" and so called "true & loyal fans" show their gratitude for a continuation in a series which was assumed dead due to lack of support from publishers. Bayonetta 2 wouldn't exist without Nintendo's support. Get over it...

All eyes are locked on the WiiU at the moment but Level-5 is showing some Wii love as they announce Inazuma Eleven Go Strikers 2013.



Level-5 will release the title on December 20th in Japan. Nintendo of Europe has confirmed they will bring Inazuma Eleven Strikers to Europe on September 28th. Nintendo of America is yet to make a statement for North American territories.

Although DSiWare games can be transferred over to the Nintendo 3DS, Nicalis has announced they will be releasing Cave Story on the eShop with updated features.



The 3DS version will feature a widescreen aspect ratio and steroscopic 3D output. Additional content will also be added such as challenge modes which include Nemesis Challenge, Boss Rush, Curly Story. Wind Fortress and Hell Time Attack. The game is due to release on October 4th for $9.99.

Reggie has told Engadget that Nintendo intends on selling Wii consoles for quite some time, especially in Latin America and Eastern European regions. The Wii has managed to sell about 40 million units in the US alone.

I made a post yesterday confirming the new price tag for WiiU software. Reggie is reconfirming the price and believes games are well worth $59.99.

It appears the premium set will come bundled with Nintendo Land with the basic set consisting of primary accessories without additional software.

Gamers over in Japan may have to wait a little longer than the rest of us to get their hands on the WiiU, but Nintendo is making up for that late arrival as every WiiU premium set will include a Dragon Quest X beta test key.



The beta test will be available shortly after the console's launch and players will be able to import any save data they may have into the final game.

Nintendo of America has revealed Wii, WiiWare and Virtual Console titles will not be playable on the WiiU GamePad. Nintendo is yet to comment on whether or not the transfer process of digital titles from Wii to WiiU will be available on launch.



"Virtual Console transfer process was not confirmed to be available at launch, and would require both systems to be present and an SD card. The transfer process works much in the same way the DSi to 3DS process works today."

Nintendo of Australia has finally announced their release date and pricing for the console. Both Australia and New Zealand will be joining Europe on November 30th for WiiU's launch.



The basic set will cost the consumer $349.95, whereas the premium set will cost $429.95. Titles which will be available on launch day are as follows: New Super Mario Bros U, Nintendo Land, Fifa 13, ZombiU, Rayman Legends, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, and Mass Effect 3.

If you want to get your hands on a WiiU Pro Controller then make sure you have $49.99 at hand. Nintendo confirmed the price of the controller and will be available at launch in North America on November 18th.

Capcom's associate online/community specialist Yuri has confirmed that only the WiiU version of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate can go online. 3DS on the other hand is limited to local multiplayer.

Nintendo confirmed a few days ago that Wii digital downloads such as WiiWare and Virtual Console titles could be transferred over to the WiiU. However, a Nintendo representative said in order to carry the content over you need your Wii!

Ubisoft and Nintendo are working together to release a ZombiU special bundle in Europe, similar to Capcom and Nintendo's partnership with the Monster Hunter 3 bundle in Japan.



A copy of ZombiU will be bundled with a 32GB WiiU premium set and a WiiU Pro controller. The bundle is yet to be confirmed for other regions.

Nintendo is bringing movies, TV shows and sports to your Nintendo console via TVii. TVii is currently announced for North America and Canada regions only, but there is still hope for other regions!



"All representatives we spoke with confirm that Nintendo TVii be available on launch day for North America. No word on other regions, but Whittaker tells us i.TV is looking to Europe for its own service, so we imagine it will then be an option for Nintendo, too."

An Electronic Arts representative has revealed the WiiU version of Madden 13 will not feature Online Communities, which launched last year.



Online Communities allows large communities to compete against one another. The EA representative said that a general lack of interest is to blame for the exclusion of this feature.

Looks like the WiiU is packing some serious firepower amid claims that the WiiU features will fail to impress.



Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has revealed that the WiiU will be packing 2GB's of RAM, compared to previous predictions of 1GB. The WiiU will be able to read discs at 22.5MB/s compared to PS3's 9MB/s. Nintendo will be supporting optical Blu Ray discs confirmed to store up to 25GB of data. Wii Sports came pre-bundled with Wii consoles everywhere except Japan. Despite this, the console managed to sell like hot cakes.



Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has revealed that Nintendo Land will be following the same path as Wii Sports. I'm sure sales will be tremendous in Japan regardless.

If you are planning on buying a WiiU then you should take extra care when using the WiiU GamePad as an extra or replacement will cost you.



Nintendo of Japan announced that a brand new WiiU GamePad will cost ¥13,440 which is just over 130€ for Europe, £100 for UK, and $170 for North America.

Earlier this year Nintendo announced the Nintendo Network, showing Nintendo's commitment towards digital distribution, communities, and competitions. Today they introduced another service called Nintendo Network Premium.



Nintendo Network Premium is for users who purchase the premium WiiU set with 32GB of storage + accessories. Premium users will be rewarded with 10% back on digital purchases made through the eShop. Sounds good to me!

Reggie Fils-Aime has confirmed during the WiiU event that over 50 titles will be WiiU-bound during the console's launch window between November 18th in North America (November 30th for EU & December 8th for Japan) through till March 2013.



Launch window titles include Pikmin 3, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Ninja Gaiden: Razor's Edge, Assassin's Creed 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, and many more.

Nintendo of Japan announces the first WiiU bundle which features the WiiU premium console with 32GB of storage space and additional accessories, a WiiU Pro controller, and a copy of Monster Hunter 3 HD.



The bundle will be available at launch on December 8th, and will cost 38,850¥.

A new trailer has been posted on the official Tekken channel showcasing some of the exclusive content that awaits WiiU owners.



The trailer shows fighters doubling in size and shrinking using the Super Mario mushroom power ups. The trailer shows a variety of mushrooms, so each mushroom may provide a different power up. Nintendo themed outfits are also available which include Mario, Luigi (both of which are shown above), Zero-Suit Samus, Star Fox, Link, and more.

Tecmo Koei is showing support for the WiiU by bringing Warriors OROCHI 3 HYPER - Koei's Dynasty Warriors spin-off series - to the console this holiday season.



Warriors OROCHI 3 originally launched back in December 2011 on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in Japan, and March 2012 for North America. Players will be able to play cooperatively with one player on the TV and the other on the GamePad, similarly to features in WiiU version of Black Ops 2. The WiiU version of Black Ops 2 will make full use of some of the features of the console. One feature that has been implemented is the ability to play two player modes with one player playing through the TV screen and the other through the GamePad.



Players can also use the GamePad screen for the game's mini map, to activate streaks or change loadouts. Black Ops 2 can also be played on the GamePad if TV is occupied.

Nintendo announced two packages for the WiiU. The first is a basic 8GB storage console.



The second is a premium 32GB storage package.



The basic package is available in white and the premium is available in black.

THQ has confirmed that Darksiders 2 will be available at WiiU's launch with additional content and pre-order bonuses.



"The Wii U edition of Darksiders II will feature additional bonus-content not included with other formats. Included on the disc will be the first DLC expansion, Argul’s Tomb, as well as all pre-order bonuses from other editions, adding around five hours of playable content and new legendary weapons and armor."

Nintendo has announced a brand new service called "Nintendo TVii". Users can watch movies, television shows and sports on the WiiU.



Nintendo TVii is currently due to release in the United States and Canada. The service will be available free of charge with no monthly fee's or contracts.

Activision has confirmed 007 Legends will be making its way to the WiiU. No release date as yet, but it is expected to release on other platforms on 16th of October.

Nintendo of America announced Capcom's Monster Hunter franchise will be making a return to Nintendo platforms with Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. The game has been announced for both WiiU and 3DS.



Nintendo of America also announced the game will be available in Europe and North America March 2013 with cross-platform multiplayer.

Platinum Games' Project P100 has been renamed "The Wonderful 101". Nintendo has confirmed The Wonderful 101 will be available on launch day.
