Looks like the WiiU is packing some serious firepower amid claims that the WiiU features will fail to impress.
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has revealed that the WiiU will be packing 2GB's of RAM, compared to previous predictions of 1GB. The WiiU will be able to read discs at 22.5MB/s compared to PS3's 9MB/s. Nintendo will be supporting optical Blu Ray discs confirmed to store up to 25GB of data. Iwata also revealed the WiiU is packing a GPGPU, which allows the console to perform computing tasks. Finally, the console uses up an average of 40 watts of power when in use. Energy efficient at the same time.
