Crystals of Silveria: What Could Have Been (plus life update)

Firstly, I should preface this by saying that the current state of my life isn’t the best; in fact this feels like the lowest it’s ever been, with the light at the end of the tunnel still taunting me like a mirage.

Due to multiple factors, not the least of which is an emotional and creative burnout that’s taking a toll on my work, it’s highly unlikely that I’ll ever get around to completing the saga that started back in January 2013 with the well-received Crystals of Silveria.

This is awkward considering the story was left on a partial cliffhanger, with a planned direct sequel titled Fruit of the Overlay tying together the plot of that season with Mask of Akanius, Flight of Indigo, and Shell of Thal into the complete Pendulum Saga, while bridging the gap into the Crestbound Saga.

I’d still like to run through the intended story in some form, so I’ve decided to provide a runthrough of the storylines that never made it to production, as well as how and where they fit into the wider storyline.

Let me know if this is something you’d like to see in the comments below, and we can finally give this story something of a conclusion.
