Eight Years of Riding The Wave!

On March 11th 2011, WiiWareWave was officially launched and though we have a different host and so much has changed since we first started our community you, our loyal fans have stuck with us and allowed us to thrive, and what an honor it has been. We've even been called the friendliest video game site on the web because of the lack of trolling and flaming that we've had since our website was founded. We look forward to continuing to grow and evolving and hope that you wonderful folks will continue to support our community for many years to come!

I always likened the "Wave" part of the website's name to surfing, and the fact that the abbreviation is literally WWW to the internet, or "World Wide Web". I would've thought "Eight Years of Surfing the Web" to be a LOT punnier as a tagline in that regard.
Either that or making a reference to the old slogan, Ride the Wave, with "Eight Years of Ridin' the Wave". But that's probably just me.
