Tediously Crawling...
Temple of Yog from CHUDCHUD Studios promises a mishmash of 2D Adventure and rogue-like gameplay, but unfortunately it fails to provide an exciting experience at present and here's why:
First of all the game's classes are all the same, except the differences in stats. All character classes are long-range fighters which seems a bit bizarre, but the Warrior class in particular is the only class currently available that is even the least bit useful as it has high HP. The Cleric has a healing skill, but its extremely low HP makes this ability all, but useless.
The game also possesses one randomly generated dungeon at present, with very few enemy types which makes the game extremely repetitive. The future updates will likely be game changers, but right now the game is far too light in-terms of content.
The controls in the game are simple and easy to learn while the dual screen feature is exceptionally enjoyable! The audio-visual presentation is also superb and has a decidedly retro feel to it!
Bottom-Line:
With solid albeit repetitive gameplay, excellent controls, and good use of the Gamepad Temple of Yog has potential to become a very good game, but as it currently stands the game is seriously lacking in content. We still feel the game is decent as-is and as such we give the game a decent recommendation, but we'll alter the score and review with every update! We also wish that we could write a longer review of this game, but there's not much to write about.
Price: $5.99
Score: ★★★★★★☆☆☆☆ 6/10

Awesome review, @Ichigofan! Shame about the game itself, though...

Don't worry Writer's Block doesn't last forever, besides the review isn't bad at all!
