What's the Meaning of Your Current Username?

I thought I'd start a topic for each of us to explain in detail our usernames. What does it mean? Why did we choose it? If it's been changed, why did we change it? Feel free to use as much detail as you like.

For too long my usernames have involved gaming in some way. For a long time, I was NintendoPurist, sometimes shortened to "NP" or "Purist" (in fact, bezerker99 still calls me Purist even to this day). At some point I added my nickname to my username, eventually becoming GamerZack87 due to my newfound interest in SEGA and PlayStation titles, though I still refer to Nintendo as my favourite video game company.

But video games are only a part of who I am. I'm more than just a gamer, I'm a geek to the core, and since GamerZack feels incomplete by itself, and doesn't explain me well enough, I've chosen to evolve my username into GeekyGamerZack. As you can see, it's still recognisable, and others will know it's me on the forums, but it's a truer explanation for who I am. I am geek and gamer in equal measure, and that's who I like to be.

Booyaa! As a HUGE fan of Frieza I made my username at Gamefaqs Freiza since Frieza was already in use. I didn't want a different name here so I opted to keep the Freiza moniker. The Golden Frieza form is what my current username is derived from.

• Orion is one of my favourite constellations for so many reasons… for one, the mythical figure upon which it’s based is described as a ridiculously tall ginger, much like myself
  
• Furthermore, Orion sounds like “Ryan,” which is my real name, and “O’Rian,” the Irish bloodline who is the origin of just one version of the name Ryan
  
• That’s right! There are actually multiple names that are phonetically similar to Ryan across at least three of this world’s language groups, such as Rayan and Raihan; some of them even have similar meanings despite the dissociation, and have incredibly ancient origins
  
• Both my middle names start with the letter J, and it’s a frequently occurring middle initial for people to have
  
• The “Zed” bit seems obvious to many of you, I’m sure, as it’s the nickname of my author avatar in the Chromaia Adventures, Zander Starmute (aka “Zed”)
  
• However, there’s a bit more to it than that, as Z (pronounced “zed” in my geographically upside-down country) is the first letter of my surname, which is the basis of the character’s name in the first place
  
• The letters Z, E, and D are close approximations to the Bayer designations of the three stars that comprise the asterism known in Western cultures as “Orion’s Belt,” and in others as the “String of Pearls”: Alnitak (ζ Ori, or “Zeta Orionis”), Alnilam (ε Ori, or “Epsilon Orionis”), and Mintaka (δ Ori, or “Delta Orionis”)
