Smashing Wii U Competition!
Today's Super Smash Bros. Presentation was chock full of information and reveals! Masahiro Sakurai confirmed that Tournament Mode is still in the works for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and is expected to release in August of this year! There are two separate types of tournaments in Tournament Mode, elimination, and another somewhat vaguely described mode.
We'll let you know more about Tournament Mode as new details are announced! In the meantime be sure to leave us a comment below!

I'm guessing the other variant will be Swiss-style pairings, in which players are randomly paired, and they earn points with each victory.

@Kushina That's ridiculous! Nintendo really needs to fix how the auto-ban system works for their online services!
