Flappity Flapp Flap!
Spikey Walls is a clone of the popular ios title Flappy Birds and was developed and published by the Blok Drop U developer RCMADIAX. But does the game live up to its predecessor? Continue reading this review to find out!
The gameplay is simple you must navigate through an endless wave of spikes by tapping a single button to avoid an early death! Each spike you pass earns you points and you can post your score on Miiverse for bragging rights. The controls are simple, but far too temperamental which is really this game's one and only Achilles Heel and it really makes the gameplay quite frustrating.
The Off-TV play works well which is great news for a title such as this one which is perfect for short bursts of fun. The graphics are very simplistic and almost reminiscent of Gameboy Color titles, and the audio is quite good and fits the game well!
Bottom-Line:
With gameplay that can be fun for short bursts, simple yet fitting graphics, and decent audio and music Spikey Walls certainly isn't a bad title to play for its price, however temperamental controls seriously hurt the otherwise solid gameplay and can make this game difficult to master and enjoy. Though if you can overlook these issues there's certainly some fun to be had!
Price: $0.99
Score:
★★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆ 4.8/10

This must be a too simple game because your review is tiny!
