One vivid memory of Easter and videogames comes to my mind.
Regularly, when Easter came my family would have family re-unions where our extended family (Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, etc.) would come to our house and relax together for the day. The most exciting part of all this to me, was that my cousin Brian, who was a year younger than me, would come over and we would go to my room and play "Super Smash Brothers Melee" on the Gamecube while eating boxes and boxes of "Peeps". The best memory was eating those yellow "Peeps" then all of a sudden a "challenger approached" (When you have the ability to unlock a new charcter in Super Smash Bros Melee). We knew we were about to unlock Luigi for the first time! After unlocking Luigi, we continued to unlock characters like "Pichu" and "Mewtwo". It was a great feeling. I will never forget that Easter.

My mom got me a Gamecube online from Walmart 8 years ago and imagine my surprise when I hear the doorbell in the morning and answer it only to find a UPS delivery person dressed as a rabbit the Easter Bunny at our door with a package that happened to be the Gamecube that I really wanted!
That was the best Easter memory ever!

This is a toughie, don't always get Easter gifts more than candy...
Actually, when I was younger, my mom's side of the family used to get together for lunch at this restaurant, Yokono's I believe. The food was alright, but the whole goal for my brother and I was to behave until the meal was over. Then we got some quarters from my dad and headed to the front where they had a couple of arcade machines.
The only machine we ever played was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade game. Every year we came back and tried to get farther than our last. It was one of my main motivations to getting a NES since you could play it on there. But that made that holiday a lot more bearable when you are around a lot of relatives you don't know that well.
Thanks as always for doing contests!

It was a long long time ago in a gal....... sorry wrong story!
Seriously i remember when i was a kid playing Atari 2600 i really wanted to play Kangaroo. My memory wasn't so much of playing the game but how it was presented by my mom. First of all i had no clue she even got us anything as far as a gift for Easter. My brother use to sit on the only chair in the living room and yes he was sitting on the game for days lol! My mom walked into the room, pulled off the cushion and presented it to us. I was so happy and shocked because i never would've thought to look there. I was a sneaky child and knew all well most of her hiding places.
It wasn't till much later on she got wise and hid them over the neighbors house lol!
