Bravely Default (Demo Impressions)

I think the demo is pretty good. Although, the difficulty is a little unbalanced. Which is due to the fact that you're thrown into the second location of the game with base stats. I understand they did that on purpose, so as not to spoil the opening of the story. But couldn't they have at least given your party members a couple levels of experience to start out with? Seeing as the story in the demo is in no way related to the actual game, and you can't transfer over your exp. earned, job levels, etc. Anyways, I'm still a little undecided. The demo doesn't really set the setting for what the actual retail game will be like. It seems like a standard RPG, but for all I know, the story could be **** or practically non-existent. I wasn't going to purchase this game physically, unless I could pre-order a copy of the collector's edition. If I do decide to download the game, I think I'll wait for a few NA reviews to emerge.

I found the demo confusing. I'm not even sure what I'm supposed to do.

I've decided not to buy this game. I already have so many unfinished RPG's, and this game doesn't really do much to set itself apart from the crowd. The gameplay in the demo didn't feel like anything special or unique to me either.
