A patch worthy of the blue blur
Sonic Lost World has been patched today by SEGA to fix many minor issues that were effecting the Wii U version of the game. In the press release SEGA pointed out the changes that have been made in this new software update.
There are more issues that haven't been resolved with this patch, but it is certainly a good start. I will try to review this game sometime early next year and will let you know if Sonic Lost World is a step up from the recent 3D Sonic games.
Has this patch fixed enough issues to effect how much you enjoy this game? I would love to see your comments!

Gameplay Updates:
Collecting 100 rings will now grant the player an extra life.
In the event of a Game Over, we have doubled the amount of lives the player will begin with when continuing. (From 5 to 10)
The Indigo Asteroid, Crimson Eagle, Orange Rocket, and Black Bomb Color Powers can now be controlled using the analog stick and buttons.
Fixed a rare graphical issue that would sometimes appear during the pinball section of the Frozen Factory casino area.
Additional Updates:
When completing the NiGHTMARE DLC, users will be notified that they can re-play it after scoring 100,000 points.
Items will now appear on the world map.

I always wondered why Sonic did not get a 1-up when I collected 100 rings now I suppose this confirms that it was bug?

This is another game on my growing wishlist of Wii U games I will eventually purchase or download, speaking of which I need to get a USB hard-drive soon since I only have 7GB of space left on my Wii U's system memory.
