Rhythm A Go-Go!



Bit Trip Presents: Runner 2 is a rhythm based platformer that is as difficult as it is visually impressive, but is this game better than its predecessor? Let's find out!



Gameplay And Controls:

Runner 2 takes all of the rhythm gameplay elements from the first Runner game and adds tons of new moves to avoid many new and more complex traps than we saw in the first Runner title and the game features some of the most responsive controls that I've ever seen in a title like this, which is a good thing since you can be easily confused as to which button you should press next thanks to the action so responive controls are a must!  The difficulty of the game is delightfully challenging and it can be quite fun trying to beat your friends scores on the leaderboard!

The game features several unlockable difficulty settings and many hidden characters as well as hidden cartridges in the levels that allow you to play a retro level of the game with 8-bit graphics, which is a very cool feature!



Graphics And Sound:

The graphics in Bit Trip Presents: Runner 2 are amazing, the HD backgrounds are vibrant and full of life and the level designs are simply amazing! You'll never know what will pop up in front of you, in some levels you'll see very unique segments such as entering a commercial airliner or other bizarre things which really adds to the gameplay experience!

The character models are very simplistic, but fit the retro style of the game like a glove.



The music in the game is awesome as it plays to the beat of what your character does in the game which is very cool, and the narrator does a great job with telling the story! There are even spoof commercials in the game which are funny to watch and the subtle sound effects when playing a level are a nice touch!

With perfect gameplay and responsive controls the game is a fun yet challenging experience and the gorgeous HD graphics and superb music that beats to your character's actions will immerse you in this title! We highly recommend this amazingly perfect title!
