WiiUWareWave
July 13th 2013, 3:02 pm
I was recently thinking that maybe the site could use a name change. Not too many people are still interested in WiiWare anymore. I think WiiUWareWave would gather much more attention from gamers, if and when it pops up in their search result's. But I'm only one member, so what does everyone else think? Is WiiWareWave an outdated title for the site?

I'm a little undecided on the subject, I don't mind what the name of the site is. I think the regular posting of new articles or reviews would have a better impact on the amount of visitors to the site than a name change however.

My router was on the verge of dying for several weeks which is why articles haven't been posted lately, but I now have a new router and faster fiber optic broadband so I'll be able to provide plenty new content now.

Although WiiWareWave seems to have a faulty code slowing the page loading on the site, which I'll need to fix.

We can't change our name until at least December and that is only if we don't qualify for another free year of a domain name.

I feel that the name doesn't sound bad or outdated, since I feel that the name "WiiWareWave" can be interpreted as "Wii SoftWare Wave" as in, we are covering "Software" regarding the "Wii" as well as it's branches with a "Wave" of article content, such as the Virtual Console, downloadable games, the handheld games and consoles, etc. and including other related ranches such as retro games and even the Wii U and it's branches as well due to its similar name.
But that's just me, if the owner and everyone else in charge of this site wants to change it, then go ahead, it will be fine by me !
