Looks like there is yet another game to add to the ever growing list of games that are not coming to the WiiU. Madden 25 (25 due to the fact that this year is the 25th anniversary of the series) will not be coming to the WiiU this year, this marks the first time since 1991 that the franchise will not be on a Nintendo console. An official statement from EA sports stated...
"We will not be releasing a Wii U version of Madden NFL in 2013. However, we have a strong partnership with Nintendo and will continue to evaluate opportunities for delivering additional Madden NFL products for Nintendo fans in the future."
Madden 13 was released as a launch title for the WiiU, the port however was missing more than a few key features found on the other console versions. This and the fact that WiiU sales have not been all that great may be factors as to why this game isn't coming to the console.Lets also not forget that the latest Tiger Woods game also isn't coming to WiiU this year either.
As always Xbox 360 and PS3 owners can get their hands on the game when its released on August 27th.

Look on the brighter side, maybe the WiiU will actually receive a fresh new football franchise. John Madden Football is getting kind of old anyways. I always preferred NFL Quarterback Club over John Madden. I haven't owned a football videogame since the late 90's. Lol!

Madden has improved greatly since the 90's, but has gotten very stale since 2007-2008.
