3DS Not Included...
Miiverse, Nintendo's own social network service, which also works as a place to discover beautiful artwork created by other Wii U owners with their gamepad using only 2 colors and yet somehow they amaze us with their detail!
The browser version is virtually the same as what you'll find on Wii U, with a few features reserved only for the console. You can scroll through your own activity feed, view Communities, view screenshots, drawings and user profiles, and Yeah! or comment on other people's posts.
However, if you want to post on a Community or add a friend, you'll still have to do that from the Wii U console. Miiverse requires a Nintendo Network ID account, which can only be created on a Wii U or 3DS console.
Desktop and mobile versions of the site are now available, and functionality is the same regardless of your browser. Nintendo has previously talked about bringing Miiverse to the 3DS, but doesn't really want to talk about it at this time.
On a bizarre note Nintendo has apparently blocked access to the mobile and desktop versions of the site on the 3DS browser. Why they've done this we don't know, but it is a strange move nonetheless.
Are you puzzled by Nintendo's decision to block the 3DS browser from viewing the site? Let us know!

This is odd, but I guess Nintendo wants an optimized app for the 3DS. D|

According to the following news story that Joystiq posted a few minutes ago, Miiverse is making its way to the 3DS this year.

It's still sorta strange that the 3DS is intentionally blocked from the Miiverse website.

I dont understand. I though 3DS was supposed to have Miiverse also.

It does seem rather odd that Nintendo would stop the 3DS from viewing it. Perhaps they're working in secret on designing an optimized version of the site just for the 3DS?
