July 15, 2013 is the 30th anniversary of the launch of the Family Computer (Famicom), known as the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES™) in the United States. In anticipation of the launch of the Virtual Console service on Wii U this Spring, Nintendo will celebrate the anniversary by releasing a Virtual Console title each month at a 30-day special reduced price of 30 cents*. You'll find these and all future Virtual Console titles within the Nintendo eShop, a digital storefront accessible from your Wii U console.

I'm mad we don't get Mother 2 here in the US, but I'm just waiting for the official VC to launch later this month
