My inspiration? I guess it would have to be wanting to write a series set in one of my fantasy worlds. It also stems from my sense of discovery and wonder, with each of the heroes pursuing personal goals and forging their own path whilst living up to their status as Crystalbound. The character of Mara has a lot of development mapped out as well, with more than a few surprises in store relating to her.
