Nintendo has finally announced that the 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro will be released in Japan on November 15th with a price of 1,500 Yen, which roughly translates to £12/€15/$20. There hasn't been any information regarding a Western release quite yet, however with Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate coming to North America and Europe in 2013, it will almost definitely be released outside of Japan!
Keep in mind that this is just an opinion, however without a second analogue stick you certainly wouldn't be able to use the claw item featured in the game, so its release seems likely. Will you purchase this add on for your 3DS XL?

The circle pad looks like it would make the 3DS XL too bulky to hold.
