Review: Rage of The Gladiator (WiiWare)

Take the role of a prince and defeat the monsters and darkness looming over your empire in this thrilling wiiware fighter!

Gameplay
The gameplay in TROTG is similar to Punch-out!! as it's a game of timing press the wrong button and you'll be feeling the pain
however this game adds to the formula by adding the skills and abilities such as magic sword techs among other awesome abilities that can quickly turn the tides of the battle against monsters such as Medusa,and Minataur just to name a couple.

This game is fairly hard and is quite lengthy as it'll take the average gamer 10+ hours to finish the normal mode,then add the challenge mode and you're looking at 30+ hours!

Graphics and Sound
The character models are quite detailed and are fully rendered in 3d and the special effects are flashy and neat. The enemies are quite realistic and to be quite honest are better then what's seen in most retail wii fighting games

The sound is awesome as well as the sound quality is great,and the explosions and other sound effects sound terrific "especially when using surround sound"
and one of the most amazing aspects is the fact that this game is fully voiced as the narrator delivers hundreds of lines,and the enemies will taunt you!

Bottom line: With excellent and lengthy gameplay,mindblowing graphics,and tons of voice overs ROTG is an excellent fighting game on a service with too few of them,and is definitely worth checking out!
