The story director behind ZombiU, Gabrielle Shrager, reveals some key characters and explains the backstory. Gabrielle tells ONM that there are three main characters in ZombiU, and also mentions survival mode.



"The origin of the Prepper and also the other characters are all built around this big back story. So it's a combination of apocalyptic fiction and zombie fiction and a little bit of historical fiction because one of the interesting things that I haven't spoken about with anyone is that players will ask themselves potentially if the first plague was perhaps a zombie outbreak at that time."
