Since there's so little games for me to purchase for the rest of the year, I decided to upgrade for a new 3DS XL matte red at launch. I'll still keep my Aqua Blue 3DS for easy download play access.

I have a similar mindset to yours, SkywardL, though there are a few new 3DS games I'd like to find, as well as some older ones. The main reason I'm getting one is the comfort when playing certain titles (I'm looking at you, Kid Icarus: Uprising and Mario Kart 7).

Same. Cause there are no worthwhile wii games coming out (in my opinion) Ive decided to buy a WiiU at launch and start reviewing those games. I plan on doing an unboxing video when I get mine.
