It is supposed to be really bad right now for professional women, but most of the Japanese men are so nice and hold honor above all else!
Even here in America people with power and influence are holding women back so it's not just a Japanese problem, but the difference is that there are more sexist men in the working class here in America then there are in Japan based on my personal experience.

Why are Japanese games hated by so many people when most Western games are far more violent? It's for that very reason that I prefer Japanese games.

Japanese games seem to have far more creativity in them as well, games like Bayonetta, Ninja Gaiden, Resident Evil, No More Heroes, and MadWorld are all violent but oh so fun

I didn't realize that 100,000's of Koreans died in mining work camps as slaves during the 1960's northern Japan.

It's only possible with a North American credit card, her best bet would be to get one from Canada as they are more flexible to giving credit to foreigners from outside of North America, however she'd have to set her region as Canada and as such pay more for the games available on the service.

There's so much going on right now where I live, I really wish I could just magically live in Japan right now and escape this and just live in Japan waking up to snuggle with a spouse to tell her how important she is. When will I be able to move and will I unfortunately have to go to college for this? I'm smart, but school has never been kind to me plus I wanna be married before I'm 30

I can’t beli this thread started over 6 years ago, boy does time move fast... I sadly feel I’ve mad little progress in that time too I haven’t had much time to practice Japanese since I work and when I’m off I don’t wanna study instead I want to rest or hang with friends. I thought things look bright back in 2014-2015 because of @Kushina, but I’m uncertain she’ll ever come back... I don’t wanna move to Japan alone either. I feel like I need to meet someone here so we can both move and I could also probably be motivated to learn better if it were my GF teaching me. I hope things look different for me soon, I’m almost 25 and feeling like I’ll never make it. sorry this post is sad

The Nintendo themed section at Universal Studios Japan looked amazing in the sorta Nintendo Direct we got. Too bad we can't visit Japan for quite sometime given the pandemic we're in. I hope @Kushina is okay.

I’m finally getting a little more confident, I’m looking on JapanCupid for cute ladies to potentially date… I’m just really shy and don’t know who I want to talk to. Sadly this sperred because of one of my friends dating and me feeling at my lowest because I felt like I’m too inexperienced (Kushina was the most experience I’ve had) and needed something. So hopefully all goes well and I start online dating before years end

@KokorOtaku Likewise, though in my case being asexual is a HUGE problem since I still desire companionship, but likely will never have it since I wouldn't be able to fulfil everything my partner or girlfriend would need from a relationship.

@Towafan7 I used to think that as well, until discovering that asexuality is a spectrum, meaning there are differing degrees of “how” ace an individual can be, including romantic asexuality.
I recommend checking out a YouTube channel named SliceOfAce, an Asexual Spectrum information hub created and hosted by an acquaintance of mine from way back when (and who just so happens to be a fellow Nintendo fan, as it were).
And with that, let’s get back to the original discussion topic… hm… how about food? Everyone likes tasty treats to some extent, and there’s no doubt Japan has among the most creative culinary cuisines this side of the Alola Region.
Here’s something fun we could do:
1. Each of us posts a yummy Japanese dish we’ve tried that another poster is sure to love
2. We each pick one or more dishes suggested by other posters and try ‘em out for realsies
3. After tasting them, we share our impressions of the meal we each chose… in haiku form
Ready to Kirby up your day?
