It looks like EA is not the only gaming company to announce their upcoming WiiU games late. In an Interview with Gameindustrybiz Eric Hirshberg, head of Activision Publishing, has stated that the company is ready to support the console. Like EA Activision will not have any new announcements till later in the year. Activision wasn’t the only ones in the interview, Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia was there too. Commenting on Nintendo he had this to say,
"We obviously have been a Nintendo developer for many years and have created many Call of Duty games on the Nintendo platform. [Wii U] is clearly a more powerful platform than its predecessor”
Call of Duty Black Ops 2 was confirmed for WiiU this week. No word yet if it will be available alongside the WiiU when it launches. This comes as a big surprise as we heard nothing a bout a WiiU version of this game at E3.
Black Ops 2 will be released November of this year.

Apparently there was no mention of special WiiU features in the Nintendo magazine write-up. Skylanders Giants is also coming to WiiU.
If Activision has anything else coming remains to be seen.
