For those who don't know, BurstDash and I are best friends in real life, and he's asked to join this forum game as the Green Ranger since green is his favourite colour. In any case, welcome aboard!

You are most welcome, BurstDash. I'm glad you're fitting in very well, and I've updated the posts to include you, as well as the other recent additions to the cast, in them.

Okay, it's nearly crunch time for the first episode, and by the end we should have nearly every human present, depending on whether or not somebody wants to play the Purple Ranger. I hope the participants - and viewers - enjoy the series, as there's plenty of stories yet to come!

Well, all but one of the protagonists is now in the first episode (once we have found a Purple Ranger, all ten of us will be in the show). We have some time to find a Purple Ranger, as their showcase episode isn't until after ReverseInverse's.

As for the actors who haven't posted in a while, we're ready and waiting for you.

Welcome aboard, Ragnarok! I'll get right to work on your character's image. I'm wondering if the Purple Ranger helmet I created is already football helmet-like.

And with that, we have every Ranger of the first season. Thank you so much for showing interest in the show! We still have roles available for well-known Mushroom World characters, including Bowser and Princess Peach. Be sure to check the series hub for all the parts you can play!

Well, it took longer than expected, but I created images of Ragnarok in both human and Ranger form. I hope you like them!



I also revamped the Purple and Orange Rangers' Mecha. The Thwomp Mecha has been replaced with the Chargin' Chuck Mecha, and the Purple Ranger's helmet has been restyled to match it. I also decided to use a Monty Mole sprite for the Orange Ranger's Mecha instead of a Big Monty Mole, so I made a new version of ReverseInverse's subterranean mechanical vehicle. Enjoy!

Okay, update time! I decided to go back and examine the Rangers' helmets in preparation for the next wave of characters in the second season, and I decided to overhaul BurstDash's helmet to make it look more like a Dino Rhino. For those who are curious, here he is in Green Ranger form:

I also noticed the Blue Ranger's helmet didn't look much like a Spiny, since the feet were too narrow and spread-apart. So for the Blue Ranger (myself, followed by my successor as Blue Ranger in the show), I gave him/her a new helmet, which looks like so:

Update time! In the second episode, BurstDash, Marioman and GamerZack find themselves in the middle of a bizarre reality show within Hazy Maze Cave. They are allowed unlimited uses of the "contact for help" feature, which lets them call somebody they know for help in solving each round. In order to do this, GamerZack uses a piece of technology he invented called a "Cellwatch", which is a communication device worn as a watch. Using this Cellwatch, GamerZack is able to keep in touch with Gadd during the course of the episode.

By the third episode, each team member has their own Cellwatch. In the same episode, it is revealed that each Cellwatch contains an app which is essentially a virtual version of a creature native to Sarasaland. Dubbed "SarasaPets", these programs are virtual pets with which the Rangers may interact and nurture. As the SarasaPet grows and develops, it automatically adds new features to the Cellwatch. The Rangers can even summon holographic versions of them to assist in battles, though this uses a lot of morph energy.

You're in luck, Otaku, as there are some new Rangers appearing in the second season of the show! I had actually prepared a Teal Ranger (later renamed the Azure Ranger) with the intention of that power being my character's second Ranger power, but with a few alterations to the storyline it's simple enough to make you the Teal/Azure Ranger instead. You also get to play Kamek, Bowser's faithful Magikoopa servant. In any case, welcome aboard!

You're welcome, Otaku! I have an idea for your character: while in Ranger form, you grow to adult size like Justin from Power Rangers Turbo. What do you think?

Just to let everybody know, there will be four additional Ranger roles available in the second season as well. The role of the Blue Ranger will be recast to a new actor, with the same powers and Mecha that I had. The Magenta Ranger has the power of the Super Mushroom, and they also have the Rex Mecha.

Bowser creates three Rangers of his own, with three roles available. The Brown Ranger has the power of the Super Leaf, able to change into Werenook form, and has the Paragoomba Mecha and Microgoomba Drones. The Grey Ranger has the power of the Poison Mushroom, able to put enemies to sleep or stun them, and has the Buzzy Beetle Mecha. The Olive Ranger has the power of the POW Block, able to wallop foes, and has the Wiggler Mecha. If you'd like to play one of these Rangers in season two, then let us know.

Oh, and the evil Brown, Grey and Olive Bowser Rangers become the heroic Bronze, Silver and Gold Mushroom Rangers at the end of season two.
