The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask is a direct sequel to Ocarina of Time and plays virtually the same, however it has a dark story and much less linear gameplay!
Gameplay
Majora's Mask is set in a alternate reality from hyrule called termina where link must stop a young boy from destroying termina, but there's a catch you only have 3 days to do it!
Luckily for link he has his trusty ocarina of time with him,so time isn't much of an issue, however progress in dungeons and puzzles/sidequests reset when you travel back in time,so finish a dungeon when you start it otherwise you'll have to start all over again..
This game is also long, though you can beat it in under 40 hours if you try to complete all of the optional quest it could take you over 100 hours to finish!
Graphics and Soundtrack
Majora's Mask has slightly better textures and a little better detail in the character models otherwise the graphics are mostly unchanged from Ocarina of Time
The music is more crisp and sounds more like a real life orchestra performance, and the music has a much darker theme than what was used in Ocarina of Time!
Final Thoughts-majora's mask plays like Ocarina of Time but has a dark more sinister feel in its story, world, and music and even though it's a good game it falls short of the high standard set by its predecessor.....however I'd still recommend this game to any Zelda fan!
Score ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 8.2/10
8- Great This is a great game that might have a few flaws or could have been better, but is still a game we highly recommend!

I just got this last night for 150 coins on club nintendo.
I think I may have had the origional (have the box I believe), but I don't know where it is. I remember play some of it. Though I dont think I played much. Gonna try to fix that though.

Same here LTGamer, but I had already downloaded this awhile ago. Ha! I'm still in Clocktown. But I think I'm suppose to leave, and begin the main adventure now. I've barely played this for some reason. It has yet to grasp me like OoT did. I guess I'll be waiting until the 10th February, for the next lineup of games.

This is an amazing game! It's really quite different, but it still has that charm to it.

So far it's been alright, but I don't really enjoy the time limitation that's present.

I'm sure like most Zelda games, it will probably just take awhile for you to get into. I was the same way when I first played it, but now it's one of my all-time favorite Zelda games.

Don't let the three day thing stress you. Just get what you can done, then go back in time to get some other things down.
(Make sure to get that ocarina soon though).
You can use what you know will happen to your advantage like in the movie Groundhog Day. So that's a good thing about this.

This is a great game, but the time limit is hard to get used to.
