Android Games Discussion
April 28th 2012, 10:14 pm
Let's all discuss about Android game apps in this thread.
I just downloaded Gailardia on my Netpad cpu and must say it's a relatively decent RPG with an okay story and a battle system that is almost identical to earlier final fantasy games.
I've played for 2.5 hours and incountered a few minor bugs, but all in all the beta testers did a good job at debugging.
Score 6.9/10

Is their any way to prevent certain games and apps from flipping your screen in android 2.2? I have a pc not a tablet so I can't flip my unit sideways when this happens and obviously I can't play games when the picture is sideways.

I have the Krazy Ice Cream Sandwhich version 4 and it's possible on mine, but yours might need some kind of app or official firmware update to allow this, but honestly idk.

I have Android 2.1 and I can disable flip in the settings. Maybe check those out.

Why did Google have to move most apps to Google Play? Now my Android 2.2 touchpad can't get the latest apps anymore, because Google Play isn't compatible with devices below 2.3.

Google Play? O_O I've never heard of this. Mine still updates with new products on the marketplace (I use 2.1).

2.2 Is the worst version to have because it uses the newer marketplace that Google is integrating into their Google play website, yet it isn't able to use Google play, so it doesn't get new apps and is losing many of the apps that were available, luckily however the Amazon.com app marketplace is compatable with Android 2.2 still, so there are some new apps and good older apps to get there.

I've only got an iOS device, but there are a few Android games I'd definitely pick up if I ever got that kind of phone. I didn't think there were so many Android and Windows 7 Phone exclusives that would appeal to me.
