While the rumor does seem false, I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo had something up its sleeve in regards of another Metroid.
If this was true and shown at E3 for Wii U, how would you react?

Why were the other posts deleted? They were just speaking their minds and certainly weren't being hateful.

Maybe the posts disappeared from a hiccup in the blog server?
