Next Xbox might have a touchscreen tablet controller

I've been seeing some rather reliable websites posting articles about this rumour which means Sony and Microsoft already are working on the copying Nintendo before the next generation has even started

This doesn't surprise me at all. Sony and Microsoft probably figured, if you can't beat'm then join'm. Nintendo has the intelligence to innovate, and Sony and Microsoft are the monkeys doing what they see.

Sounds...expensive. If the WiiU is going to be the first released of the bunch, it's going to be understandably weaker in comparison to the other two. If the Xbox and PS3 are going to be powerful behemoths again, the addition of a tablet controller to the price of already costly tech makes me weep. :S

Why do these guys not know how to come up with ideas themselves?

Old News. Sony is doing the same thing

No surprises there from either side. Both companies strongly doubted the success of the Nintendo Wii console because of motion controls. Microsoft and Sony created their own motion devices after seeing Nintendo's success. It is rather disappointing though. Just means regardless of which console gamers go with none of them are unique as they all boast similar features.

I think there's still plenty of room for uniqueness outside of the tablet controllers and the games. Xbox and PS3 this generation are sort of a "same, yet not at all" deal in a way.

Well Nintendo is being very secretive about this console. So who knows Maybe they will announce something SUPER radical and unexpected at E3 2012
