Konami has announced on their Facebook page that Frogger: Hyper Arcade Edition is on its way to WiiWare as well as XBLA, PSN, and ios platforms!
Here's the description from Konami's Facebook page.
"Frogger's coin-op thrills are back and better than ever this Spring in Frogger: Hyper Arcade Edition! Jump into the action with classic and brand-new game modes like Tile Capture, Battle Royale, Freak Out and more that expand the challenge of Frogger's style of run-and-dodge gameplay. Customize your game experience, from the modern neon style of HYPER ARCADE to the 8-bit sprites from Frogger, Castlevania and even CONTRA!
Talk about an announcement coming from far left field! Well now that the announcement has been made, we'll let you know more as we get more details about this new Frogger WiiWare game!

I might get this to support quality releases on Japan's WiiWare service. By the way nice find Rukiafan if you search for this game on google your website is the fifth site listed.

I get this game probably at launch. Hopefully soon.
It is like the original but with stylish graphics.
Though the best thing about this remake should be 4 player co op and the variety of modes. Sounds fun!
Shouldn't be more than 500 points though.

I already have Frogger Returns for WiiWare, but this looks much better.
