Zelda: Skyward Sword's bug-fix channel now available in all continents ! Nintendo-wii-zelda-skyward-sword-data-restoration-channel-news-2

If you're having problems with that infamous Zelda: Skyward Sword game-killing bug, then I've got some good news for you !

Nintendo has released a channel in the Wii Shop Channel where it can update your Zelda: Skyward Sword game data that has the glitch and fix it ! called the "Save Data Update Channel", it is available on the Channel section in the Wii Shop Channel now for America, Europe and Australia !

Be warned though ! because there's a certain rule that you need to follow ! in which it states:

"Please be aware that if you delete your Wii Shop Channel Account after having used this Channel to make the update, then the save data for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will also be deleted."

This is applied to the European and Australian channels however, so I don't know if the American channels should be following this rule too !

So, what do you think ? did this saved your game ? or this should have been released early ?

Do games need to be epic ?... or fun ?...

I managed to avoid the glitch, but this is a great way to fix the problem. Smile Let's hope they fix the Metroid Other M glitch next.

Jnes, the WiiShop warning is also present in the NA channel as well. I haven't reached that segment of gameplay yet, but I downloaded it anyways as a precautionary measure.

Nintendo seems to have learned from the Metroid Other M bug fix. I like being able to fix a bug myself without having to send my Wii to Nintendo......Smile

Yeah, and Skyward Sword is such an awesome and epic adventure which doesn't deserve such a glitch tainting it's reputation in any way. I have this channel saved on my SD card myself.
