Biggest Splash Yet!



Today we added a massive amount of new features on WiiWareWave that were lacking in the previous version of our website, here are some of the new features!

Quick Search:

This feature automatically loads on the Wii browser, but on a pc browser you must not be typing a forum or blog message and just start typing and the quick search will load!

Quick Quote:

Now when you quote a message it'll be quoted in quick reply so you don't have to wait for the full editor to load!

@mention feature added!

If you type in @username: then a message you will create a link to that user's profile similarly to what NL uses, however the : after the username is required and it only works on quick reply, and a downside is that any username with a space e.g. Super Otaku can't be mentioned.

Example of use. @Nintenbro: Good work!

Message Saver:

This new feature forces the website to save your messages every 30 seconds so if your internet goes out or you accidentally leave the page you won't lose your message, however you must use the full text editor as the quick reply doesn't support this feature.

This is recommended for those writing long posts!

Visitor Wall Message Notification!:

Remember your visitor wall? Well now everytime a visitor message is posted there you'll get a neat pop-up notification!

Full Text Editor Change:

When using the full text editor you can now easily make specific text bold or indented etc.... by highlighting the text you want altered and click the appropriate BB code and your text will be changed properly without having to manually use the [] [/] codes!

This also doesn't work on the quick editor.

We have also added a new like button to the forums and blogs to help improve the social activity of WiiWareWave!
